Nepal is a garden

diverse castes/languages/many diverse ethnic groups/tribes

altitude varies from 73 meters high sea level fertile plains
border India east south of Nepal to 8850 meters world's highest
Himalayan mountain ranges like Tibetan plateaus & Mt. Everest
border to Tibet (China). Due to diverse geographical location,
there is 6 different season but just 4 season count in use in
the daily life. Whole country is divided in 3 different region
in brief. i) Himalayan mountain region ii) Hills region iii)

farmers.
Nepal is a rich
country for its eternal fascination, diverse of natural beauties,
peoples/cultures are as beautiful as sceneries, world's highest
snow capped mountain ranges, flora/fauna, cultural & natural
heritages like cities of old towns, magnificent ancient temples/stupas/monastaries,
colorful festivals, feast, cultures/costumes/traditions. It's a
country of ancient history, & its a play ground of gods &
goddesses.
There were mini
kingdoms in the lands during ancient times, later on King Prithivi Narayan Shah (ancestor of present king) overran them
all, & unified the kingdoms under Prithivi Narayan Shah
about 300 years ago & made the lands named Himalayan Kingdom Nepal
now.
You don't have to
be sherpa & Sir Edmund Hillary that you can get easily to the
spectacular snow capped mountains/villages with very easy & gentle walking enjoying
each hour different superb sceneries around. Nepal provide you the world's most best/joyful/relaxing
walking on earth.
Walking has
always been the main method of getting from A to B for the peoples in
the Hills/mountains of Nepal. There are no roads into 90% hills
country of Nepal. Vast majority of villages can only be reached
on foot.
Trekking in Nepal
means a walking trip following up & down & level trails which have
been made by local peoples to use for communication & trade &
daily life for years. Trekking is not mountaineering. Those
trekking trails are used by Nepalese village peoples for their every
day life & trade. A trekking trip can be any length you choose.
There are enormous popular short treks around Kathmandu &
Pokhara. Trekking in Nepal is not like the trekking to North
America/Africa/Europe/Western countries. Most often you will be
met by the local peoples/villagers all along the trekking trails
while you are on the trekking to the mountains/hills of Nepal. |
