17-DAYS LANGTANG-GOSAINDUNDA-HELAMBU TREK

Camp Overnight Details
DHUNCHE
(1900m.)

Day 01:

 Transfer to Dhunche by bus (8 hrs approximately).
SHYABRU GAON
(2200m)

Day 02:

 After breakfast walk approximately for 3 hrs. to arrive Brabal village. Lunch served. Continue walk for Shyabru (duration approximately 3 hrs.) (National Park Area is touched from Dhunche). Dinner and overnight at tented camp. (Appx. - 6 hours)
LAMA HOTEL
(2250m.)

Day 03:

 Breakfast at tented camp, Start walk to Odar for approximately 3 hrs. Lunch on the way, After lunch walk 3 hrs and arrive Lama Hotel (Small restaurant in the jungle). Overnight camp near by Langtang stream.
LANGTANG
(2800m.)

Day 04:

 After breakfast trek to Ghora Tabela for approx. 3 hrs. After lunch. continues easy walk to Langtang for approx. 2 hrs. Dinner and overnight at tented camp. (Appx. 5 hours)
KYANGI GOMBA
(3900m.)

Day 05:

 Breakfast at tented camp. Walk approx 3 hrs. and arrive Kyangi Gomba. After lunch roam around to witness glaciers. Ganjala peak and Cheese factory. It is an ideal spot for intrested participants to extend their stay.
LANGTANG

Day 06:

 Trek back to Langtang
LAMA HOTEL

Day 07:

 Trek back to Lama Hotel
SHYABRU GAON

Day 08:

 Trek back to Shyabru Gaon.
SENGOMPA

Day 09:

 After breakfast at tented camp. Walk approximately 2.30 hrs. and arrive Chaurikharka. After lunch continue walk for approx 3 hrs. arriving Sengompa. Cheese factory, monastery and few tea shops are seen at this place. Dinner and overnight at tented camp. (Appx. 5.30 hours)
GOSAINKUND

Day 10:

Breakfast at tented camp. Walk for approximately 3 hrs. to arrive Lauri Binayak where packed lunch is served in the earlier due to scarcity of water enroute. Continue walk for approximately 2 hrs for Gosainkunda. Gosainkunda is a famous pilgrimage for Hindus. During full moon is August Colourful fair/festival is celebrated at this place. Gosainkunda, Nagkunda, Saraswoti Kunda and Suraj Kunda thee 4 Takes are considered holiest Lakes for Hindus and Buddhists. Overnight at Tented Camp (Appx. 5 hours)
GHOPTE CAVE

Day 11:

 After breakfast walk for approximately 3 hrs. and arrive near a small stream where lunch is served. Continue walk for about 3 hrs. and arrive at Ghopte. Dinner and overnight at tented camp. (Appx. - 6 hours)
MELAMCHE GAON

Day 12:

 After breakfast walk for approximately 3 hrs through jungle. Arrive near Tharepati where lunch is served. Continue walk for about 2 hrs. to arrive Melamche Gaon. dinner and overnight at tented camp. (Appx. - 5 hours)
TARKE GHYANG

Day 13:

 After breakfast descending walk of approx. 2 hrs. through the jungle, villages and cross the bridge. After lunch continue walk ascending to Tarkeghyang for approximately 3 hrs. There are two monasteries and some villages on the way. Overnight at tented camp (Appx. - 5 hours)
SHERMATHANG

Day 14:

After breakfast walk for approx. 2.30 hrs. through the jungle and arrive at Shermathang. After lunch continue walk for approx. 3 hrs. There is a big monastery at this place. Dinner and over night at tented camp. (Appx. 5.30 hours)
MELAMCHE PUL

Day 15:

After breakfast easy walk approx for 3 hrs. and arrive Kakani witnessing Jugal Himal, Gauri Shanker Panch Pokhari and Gosainkunda Peaks. After lunch. Continue walk descending to Melamche crossing Indrawati Bridge for approx. 3 hrs. Overnight at tented camp. (Appx. - 6 hours)
SHIPAGHAT

Day 16:

After breakfast easy walk of approx. 2 hrs. and arrive Bahunepati for lunch. Continue easy walk for Shipaghat approx. 2 hrs. Overnight at Tented Camp. Drive back.
KATHMANDU

Day 17:

 After breakfast at Shipaghat to Kathmandu (Appx. - 4 hours).
