Mt.Makalu is the 5th Highest mountain in the world and this is near by the top of the world (Everest). This region is blessed with an incredible diversity of natural beauty and culture. Due to its isolation and lack of tea houses this area still receives few trekkers. Sherpa, Rai and Limbus are the main habitants in this area. Walking north of the Arun river to Sedua and Nun, then crossing Barun La (4110m.) into the upper Barun Khola valley for a close look at Makalu(8463m).The second part of the trek is very difficult and almost impossible without previous experience.

 Highlights of the Trekking-

Spectacular views of snow covered giant Himalayan peaks including Mt. Everest, Makalu, trekking through eye-catching villages, different community with majority of Rai, Limbu and Sherpa, exploring around Arun valley and riversides.

Days 01 : Arrival at Kathmandu International airport by our representative, transfer to hotel

Days 02 : Stay at Kathmandu for the official procedure and sightseeing, overnight at hotel.

Days 03 : Fly to Tumlingtar and start trek to Khandbari, overnight at tented camp.

Days 04 : Trek to Chichira, overnight at tented camp.

Days 05 : Trek to Num, overnight at tented camp.

Days 06 : Trek to Seduwa, overnight at tented camp.

Days 07 : Trek to Tashi Gaon, overnight at tented camp.

Days 08 : Trek to Khongma, overnight at tented camp.

Days 09 : Trek to Mumbuk, overnight at tented camp.

Days 10 : Trek to Yangle Kharka, overnight at tented camp.

Days 11 : Trek to Shersong, overnight at tented camp.

Days 12 : Explore Makalu Base Camp, overnight at tented camp.

Days 13 : Rest at Makalu Base Camp, overnight at tented camp.

Days 14 : Trek to Yangle Kharka, overnight at tented camp.

Days 15 : Trek to Mumbuk, overnight at tented camp.

Days 16 : Trek to Kongma, overnight at tented camp.

Days 17 : Trek to Tashi Gaon, overnight at tented camp.
